Izmir- Women are Strınger Together Platform in Izmir distributed leaflets calling on women to participate in the Feminist Night March to be held on Alsancak Cyprus Martyrs Street on March 8, the International Women’s Day, at 19.30. The members of the platform first distributed leaflets in Karşıyaka Bazaar and then went to Alsancak by ferry. After distributing leaflets on the ferry, the women distributed leaflets on the Alsancak Cyprus Martyrs Street.

 Calling for participation in the march to make the demands of women in the earthquake zone heard, the women emphasized that women are stronger together. The women also chanted slogans such as “It is a massacre, not an earthquake” and “Long live March 8, long live our struggle”.

After distrusting leaflets, the women staged a sit-in on the street for half an hour to commemorate those who lost their lives in the earthquake
