At least 11 people, including women and children, were killed and 15 others injured in Israeli airstrikes on a makeshift tent sheltering displaced families in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
An Israeli airstrike on northern Gaza killed two brothers, the news agency reported on Thursday.
Four people injured
Four Palestinians were injured late Wednesday when Israeli soldiers opened fire during a raid in the Old City of Nablus in the northern West Bank, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Thursday.
Gaza's population down by 6%
The population of Gaza has fallen 6% since the start of the war on October 7, 2023, according to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).
More than 45,000 Palestinians, more than half of them women and children, have been killed, according to the Gaza’s health ministry. According to the PCBS, more than 55,000 are presumed dead, as 11,000 people remain missing. About 100,000 Palestinians have left Gaza since 7 October, 2023.
