Riha – Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband Hacı Esvet Şenyaşar and two sons Adil and Celal Şenyaşar were killed by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in the Suruç district of Urfa province just before the general elections held on June 24, 2018, has held a sit-in protest demanding justice with her son Ferit Şenyaşar since March 9. On the 102nd day of the sit-in, the Şenyaşar family will go to Antep province to visit political parties, Bar Association, and NGOs.
“Our struggle has entered its 102nd day. Today, we want to make our struggle heard across Turkey not only in front of the Şanlıurfa Courthouse. Today, we will visit Gaziantep Bar Association and organizations in Gaziantep,” the family wrote on their Twitter.
