News Center_Violations against residents of Taiz city continue,amid escalating Houthi attacks that have targeted a number of districts, resulting in civilian casualties and exacerbating material damage,widening the impact on daily life and basic services.

Recent official statistics released by the Public Health and Population Office in Taiz city yesterday,Friday,August 14,revealed that 69 civilians were killed or injured as a result of Houthi attacks on several areas of the city during the period from August 1 to 14.

According to the official statistics,the total number of victims reached 16 dead and 53 wounded,who were received at a number of hospitals and medical and field centers in the city.According to the data in the statistics,the Mokha District topped the list of districts in terms of the number of victims,with hospitals receiving 52 wounded and 13 fatalities.

In Maqbana District,the filed hospital in Fikika received two fatalities and one wounded as a result of a landmine injury,with no other injuries recorded according to the documented data.

This toll comes amid continued Houthi attacks on various areas of Taiz city and the civilian casualties and material damage they cause.
