Riha – The relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız attacked the members of the Şenyaşar family in their workplace located in the Suruç district of Urfa province, and then attacked Suruç State Hospital to kill the people who survived the attack on their workplace. They killed four people, including Emine Şenyaşar’s husband Haci Esvet Şenyaşar and two sons Celal and Adil Şenyaşar. Three years have passed since the massacre took place. Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, have held a sit-in protest in front of the Urfa Courthouse demanding “justice” for their relatives for 98 days.

“I couldn't find justice no matter what I did for three years”

Emine Şenyaşar stated that they have held a sit-in protest in front of the Urfa Courthouse for 98 days, “Those who carried the massacre are free now. One of my sons has been held in prison. He has been held in a solitary ward for three years. I came here again today. Why don’t they release the hospital records? Why do they hide the massacre? They killed my relatives at the hospital and applauded what they did. I couldn't find justice no matter what I did for three years. Those who carried the massacre must be arrested.  I went everywhere, even to Ankara, there is no justice. Why don’t they arrest those who killed my family members? Why do prosecutors hide this massacre? Why do they do this to us? They destroyed my family.”
