Riha- The sit-in protest of Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, has continued on its 262nd day. The Şenyaşar family went in front of the Urfa Courthouse early in the morning to demand justice again.

The family posted a tweet today to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. “Urfa Women's Platform visited a mother, who has been subjected to physical and psychological violence in front of the courthouse for nine months on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women to be in solidarity with her and be her voice. Women will change the bad luck of this country. #IstanbulConventionSavesLives,” read the tweet.
