Najla Imad wins gold medal at 2024 World Para Table Tennis Championships

Iraqi player Najla Imad has won the gold medal at 2024 World Para Table Tennis Championships by defeating the Ukrainian world champion, Marina Litoshenko.

News Center- Iraqi player Najla Imad has won the gold medal at 2024 World Para Table Tennis Championships being held in Egypt after defeating the Ukrainian world champion, Marina Litoshenko.

Najla Imad survived a bomb placed under her father's car when she was three but she lost her three limbs. Then, she began to play table tennis and she has achieved many successive victories.

Iraq has participated in the Paralympic Table Tennis World Cup with three players; Najla Imad, Zainab Hassan, and Russel Fadel.
