She stressed the necessity of enacting fairer laws that do justice to women in society, in line with established values and legislation, and that preserve their dignity and restore the rights that have been stripped from them.

She explained that Iraqi women are known for their abundant giving, likening them to a palm tree that offers goodness in all its parts. She affirmed that women have proven their ability to excel in various fields and that their ambition knows no bounds, as they have emerged and proven their worth in politics, science, and other areas. She pointed to a decline in women's empowerment recently, as well as the issuance of decisions and laws she described as unfair, including those related to custody issues. She affirmed that a mother's role in her children's lives is fundamental and pivotal, which calls for a fair and considered review of those decisions. She added that Iraq is witnessing continuous development, a matter that requires reconsidering legislation related to women in a way that aligns with the path of progress.

She explained that women are competent and capable of assuming leadership tasks, having demonstrated their ability to take on the highest leadership and executive positions, such as the Ministries of Defense and Interior, and even the Prime Ministership. The media figure, Ola Al-Shammari, concluded her remarks by wishing Iraqi women further achievements and successes, and that they always remain in a position of leadership and giving, calling for standing with them and supporting them, not against them.
