News Center - An Iranian woman named Z.N. was raped by two security guards named İ.H.K. and Y.V. and an unknown person in the Van’s Kurubaş Removal Centre. The suspects have faced up to 18 years prison sentence for “sexual assault”. Three men have been jailed pending the trial and the next hearing will be held on July 8.

An investigation was also opened against five officials for “not reporting the incident” and “misfeasance in public office” but the Public Prosecutor of Van province has ruled there is no need to prosecute the incident.
