This song is sung by Nina Simone and it was last heard in the Handmaid's Tale TV series based on the novel of the same name by Margaret Atwood. A woman among the handmaids, who were captured by the fascist-theocratic administration and systematically raped, organizes a bomb attack on a meeting of the management people. When the woman is walking in victory, Nina Simone sings her song, “Feeling Good”. After that day, women rise up.
Because the song tells women: “And this old world is a new world and a bold world for me.”
