Book of the day: Liten
Stina Wirsén Hedengren is a Swedish author and illustrator. She has received several awards for her illustrations. She was granted Huckepack Award in 2017 with her book namely, “Liten (Small)” to make a contribution to the development of children with its illustrations and stories. The Liten looks at the effects of domestic violence on children. The book itself is small just like its character. But the book accomplishes great things because it mentions the most difficult of subjects: domestic violence against (also) children.
The story is for people from all ages. The adults are responsible for the safety and peace of children. Mothers-fathers, relatives-neighbors, adults should take care of and protect children.
The book including illustrations calls on adults to take responsibilities for children.
