Virtual conference on “Women and men amid conflicts and peace process” to be held in October

The Women’s Voice Foundation for Investment in Algeria announced that it will hold its first virtual international conference in October via Zoom with the motto, “Women and Men Amid Conflicts and Peace Process” with the participation of several Arab and regional countries. Many experts, researchers, and academics from Arab countries and other countries will attend the two-day conference. The discussions to be conducted on a sociological and scientific basis by using tangible data aim to shed light on the future.

The Women’s Voice Foundation for Investment in Algeria will hold its first virtual conference in October with the motto, “Women and Men Amid Conflicts and Peace Process”. Samia Kaihel, one of the organizers of the conference, spoke to NuJinha about the purposes of the conference to be held via Zoom.

“The main purpose of this conference is to shed light on the importance of partnership between women and men to ensure gender equality,” Samia Kaihel told us.
 
Solution-focused discussions

Samia Kaihel emphasized that a bridge should be built for international NGOs working on human rights to work together. “The conference will focus on finding ways in which participants can develop solutions for gender equality and build an effective social life. The discussions will be solution-focused discussions.”

“Bullying and violence will be discussed”

The conference will also focus on the problems of men and women and social problems in the Middle East and the Arab region. “We will discuss the problems faced by women and men, all traditions, the role of media in gender equality, bullying and why violence against women has increased so much in recent years,” Samia Kaihel said.

The conference is to shed light on future discussions

Samia Kaihal told us the conference will last two days, “Many experts, researchers, and academics from Arab countries and other countries will attend the two-day conference.
