Newroz 21 Organization supports women, children

Newroz 21 Organization provides opportunities for women and works for orphans and refugee children in Iraq.

Baghdad – There are many non-government organizations in Iraq but Newroz 21 Organization plays a more active role to empower women. The organization has carried out works for the rights of women and children in Iraq. It serves to provide vital opportunities for women after being founded in 2016 to support orphans and refugee children in Iraq.

Programs for homeless children

Ronak El-Caf, manager of the organization, spoke to our news agency about the organization’s programs, activities and works. “Feeling and understanding the suffering of people around you encourages you to change the conditions that cause people to suffer,” Ronak El-Caf said children are the most defenseless segment in society, “For this reason, working for homeless, orphaned and refugee children is important for our organization.” Talking about the attacks carried out by ISIS in the region, Ronak El-Caf said that women have to live in difficult conditions.

The organization provides clothes, food for women and children. The aim of the organization is to organize educational programs for children and women.

It organize courses

“We don’t like to just give toys to children. We try to strengthen their faith in the future and to focus on their education life. For this reason, we organize courses to support them. This is an important step because we show them how education is important for them.
