Iranian women want to ride motorcycle

Although Iranian women have the right to get a license to ride a motorcycle, they are rejected to get it. Iranian women have collected more than 7,000 signatures to get a license.

News Center- Iranian women have struggled to have their fundamental rights. They have launched a petition to have their right to get a license to ride a motorcycle. More than 7,000 have signed the petition to remove the ban against riding a motorcycle. The women have demanded that women can get a license to ride motorcycles. “We are the women of this land and we demand to use our right to drive motor vehicles,” Iranian women said in the petition.

According to Article 20 of the Iranian Driving Violations Law, police have the authority to issue motorcycle driving licenses. Even if there are no regulations banning women from riding motorcycles, Iranian women cannot get a license.
