The 3^rd Orphic Painting Exhibition was held in Aden to support young painters. Many paintings have been displayed at the exhibition.

Yemen- Aden Again Cultural Foundation held the 3^rd Orphic Painting Exhibition in Aden between December 18 and December 20 in partnership with the Goethe Institute to support young painters. Many women painters such as Safa Anis, Manar Saleh, Sarah Waheeb, and Osama Ashraf displayed their paintings at the exhibition.

She participated in the exhibition with her 10 paintings

Sarah Waheeb, who participated in the exhibition with her 10 paintings, spoke to NuJINHA about the exhibition. “I focused on the feelings we keep hiding in my paintings. I tried to show my hidden feelings in my paintings,” she told us.

Yemeni artist Manar Saleh, who is interested in abstract art, “Contemporary Art” participated in six different sessions of the exhibition.

She has painted since her childhood

Artist Safa Anis, who portraits the city of Aden in detail in her paintings, has painted since her childhood. “I love painting since my childhood. I am interested in traditional and digital painting. In my paintings, I try to reflect the beauty of Aden. I participated in the exhibition with my five paintings. I painted a woman wearing the traditional dress of Aden in my first painting. In my second painting, I was inspired by the artist Van Gogh's Starry Night painting. In my other three paintings, I drew ancient port, the building of the St. Mary Garrison Church, and an old tea house of Aden,” she told us.

Artist Osama Ashraf drew a family that went missing due to the war in one of her paintings. In the other painting called, “After the rain” she drew the collapse of the dreams of young people due to the ongoing war.
