Emine Işıksu Öksüz was the author of many novels such as “Küçük Dünya (Small World, 1966)”, “Sancı (Stitch, 1975)”, “Çiçekler Büyür (Flowers Grow, 1979)” and “Azap Toprakları (Pain Lands, 1969)”. She also wrote many plays such as “Bir Yürek Satıldı (A Heart is Sold, 1966)”, “Bir Milyon İğne (A Million Needles, 1967)” and “Adsız Kahramanlar (Anonymous Heros, 1975)”. She published “Töre (Custom)” magazine between 1971 and 1981.
