Shehba- Members of the Young Women’s Union (Yekîtiya Jinên Ciwan-YJC) held a meeting yesterday in the Ehdas district of Shehba with the motto, “As women, be yourself for yourself.” During the meeting held with the support of the Jineology Research Center, the young women shared their thoughts and opinions.

Rîm Dede, a member of the union, spoke to our news agency about their meeting. “We think that young women should understand their problems, get to know themselves, and know the social structures they live in. Young women can protect themselves when they know themselves,” she said, underlining that they will continue to organize themselves against the patriarchy.
