News Center- Women political prisoners imprisoned in Bakırköy Women’s Closed Prison refused contact visits on Tuesday to protest the practice of strip search in the prison. 

According to the received reports, wardens tried to strip search the political prisoners and demanded them to take their shoes off in the prison.

The family members of the prisoners were reportedly beaten by the officers while waiting outside to receive information about their relatives.
