Ceyda Ö. was choked to death by her husband Serkan Ö. The killer was detained by police while sitting on the sofa in the living room.

The incident took place in İzmir's Çiğli district yesterday night. The family of Ceyda Ö. went to her home last night at 20.00 after not receiving any news from her for a while. They locked the door but no one opened the door so they called a locksmith to open the door. When they entered the house, they saw Serkan Ö. sitting on the sofa in the living room by holding a knife. They found the dead body of Ceyda Ö. in the bedroom. They reported the incident to the police and Serkan Ö. was detained by the police.
