Woman injured by Russian soldiers in Girkê Legê

One woman was injured by Russian soldiers during the protest against a joint military patrol by Russia and Türkiye in Girkê Legê (Al-Maabadah), a town of the Jazira Canton of North and East Syria.

Girkê Legê – The people of the Dêrna Axa village of Girkê Legê (Al-Maabadah), a town of the Jazira Canton of North and East Syria, protested the joint military patrol by Russia and Türkiye on Thursday.

Russian soldiers used tear gas and rubber bullets against the villagers. A Russian tank ran over and injured a woman identified as Evin Îsa. According to the local sources, the injured woman was taken to a hospital.

Despite the attack, the villagers did not allow the joint patrol of the Turkish and Russian forces in the village.
