Shehba- Afrin Yazidis’ Union held a march in Til Rifet to protest the attempt of the KDP forces to enter Shengal. All members of the institutions and organizations of the Autonomous Administration and Yazidis attended the march, which started at the crossroads of Til Rifet and ended in Dewara Zarokan.

Meryem Cindo joined the march to support the people of Shengal. “The KDP wants to enter and settle in Shengal again. In 2014, the KDP forces left the people of Shengal alone. For this reason, we don’t want any other force in Shengal except the forces of Shengal. The people of Shengal have a strong will and no one can break their will,” Meryem Cindo called on international human rights organizations to solve this problem.

Rojava Yazidi Women's Union executive File Şekiro indicated that Shengal is always targeted. “As the people of Shengal, we will never leave Shengal. We will not allow the KDP forces to enter Shengal. We will resist to the end.”
