Two Kurdish activists arrested in Iran
Parisa Mohammadi and Galavezh Tahmasbi, two women Kurdish activists from Kermanshah and Sanandaj, were arrested by Iranian government forces and taken to an unknown location.

In Kermanshah and Sanandaj, where many protests were held on September 16, two Kurdish activists, Parisa Mohammadi and Galavezh Tahmasbi, were arrested and taken to unknown locations on September 16 by Iranian security forces.
According to the reports of the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Parisa Mohammadi, a mountaineer athlete from Kermanshah, was arrested by government forces on Si Metri Street in the city on September 16, at 8p.m. Galavezh Tahmasbi, a 39-year-old environmental activist and mountaineer from Sanandaj, was arrested on the same day after being summoned to the Sanandaj Intelligence Department.
“Since their arrests, there has been no available information regarding the charges against these two female activists, also including comprehensive information about their fate and whereabouts,” said the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights.
