Twitter adds feminine Arabic language setting
Twitter has added a new language setting to support feminine form of Arabic.
News Center- Gender in the Arabic language affects nearly every noun and verb, with each word changing in small ways whether they're referring to a male or a female person. Twitter has added a new language setting to support the feminine form of Arabic. Twitter announced the new setting on June 15. The new setting allows people to choose the feminine form of Arabic.
“As a network, our goal is to serve for public conversation and to achieve this goal, we must provide a better service for everyone,” said Rasha Fawakhiri, Head of Communications, Middle East & North Africa of Twitter.
Speaking about the new update, Rasha Fawakhiri said, “We want to reshape the way we address Arab women. The Arabic language is one of the main languages in our services and our company took the first step for the Arabic language. We may update the other languages.”
