News Center- In Turkey, men killed 1,897 women and 1,123 more died under suspicious circumstances from 2018 to 2023.

In the last 24 hours, five women were killed by men and three more died under suspicious circumstances and one woman was injured by her husband in Turkey, according to reports.

 * Zahide Yurtkal was killed by her husband, Tamer Yurtkal, in the Karabağlar district of Izmir province despite the restraining order.

* Canan K. was stabbed to death by her son in the Gelibolu district of Çanakkale province.

* A woman namely Naile Y. was stabbed to death by her husband in Semsur (Adıyaman).

* A woman namely Duygu C. was killed by her husband, Deniz C., in Istanbul’s Sancaktepe district.

* A woman identified as Antika Ayer was killed by her husband, Vezir Ayer, in Antalya.

* Melek Saltan died under suspicious circumstances in Şırnak.

* Salima Omarova, a Kyrgyz woman living in Antalya, was found dead at her home.

* Dead body of Havva Sönmez was found in an irrigation pond in the Alanya district of Antalya.

* A woman namely Z.Ş. was stabbed by her husband in Van. The injured woman was taken to a hospital for treatment.
