News Center- Free Women’s Movement (TJA) issued a written statement about the suspicious deaths of Halil Güneş, Abdulrezzak Şuyur, and Garibe Gezer in prison. In the statement, the TJA noted that the male-state has carried out special war policies against Kurdish women, people and in particular against the prisoners for years.” They want to intimidate the Kurdish people and break their will by attacking resisting prisoners. Three of our comrades Garibe Gezer, Halil Güneş, and Abdulrezzak Şuyur were martyred by the male-state as a result of the special war policy they have waged against the resistance in prisons.”
“We will resist to the end”
In the statement, the TJA emphasizes that they, as Kurdish women’s movement, didn’t accept the male-dominant state’s special war policies and we will not accept, “We declare that we will resist to the end against these special war policies, that we will increase our struggle for truth and freedom and defend our identity, language, culture, water, lands, and all our social values, particularly the people resisting in prison.”
