Thousands hospitalized in Iran due to sandstorms

2,107 people have been hospitalized in Iran's Sistan-Baluchestan province due to sand and dust storms.

News Center- Iran’s southeastern Sistan-Baluchistan province has been suffering from sand and dust storms for about a week. In five days, 2,107 people complaining of breathing difficulties and heart and eyesight issues, admitted to hospitals in the province.

“In the last five days, 2,107 people admitted to hospitals due to sand and dust storms in Zabol, Zehak, Hamun, Hirmand and Nimruz. 136 people are still under treatment,” Majid Mohebi, director general of the provincial crisis management department, told IRNA, official news agency of Iran.
