“The Syrian crisis can only be resolved by the Autonomous Administration”

The Women's Council of North and East Syria issued a statement on the 11th anniversary of the Syrian crisis and emphasized that the Syrian crisis can only be resolved by the Autonomous Administration.

News Center- The Women's Council of North and East Syria issued a statement on its social media account on the 11th anniversary of the Syrian crisis.

“The Syrian crisis has turned into a bloody civil war. Half of the Syrian people fled their homes due to the ongoing war and the infrastructure of the country was destroyed. Moreover, only the people have paid the price of international sanctions on the Syrian economy,” the statement says, “The revolution, which quickly moved away from its purpose, has turned into a tool of foreign actors that have their interests in Syria. Therefore, the meetings in Geneva, Astana, and Sochi also remained inconclusive.”

In the statement, the Women's Council of North and East Syria points out that the people of north-eastern Syria ensure security in the region by establishing a democratic system as a third option. “The existing problems will be solved by the Syrians themselves,” the statement says.
