Sit-in protest of Şenyaşar family enters its 435th day

On the 435th day of their sit-in protest, Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar say the second step in the massacre case was prevented and call for a solution.

Riha - The sit-in protest started in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out on June 14, 2018, in the Suruç district of Urfa province by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, continues on its 435th day.

In the morning, Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar came in front of the courthouse from their home in the Suruç district to keep up their protest.

“Everyone is aware of everything. After four years of the massacre, the prosecutors took a legal step, but the second step was prevented. We want a #Solution for this ongoing injustice in Şanlıurfa, we want justice,” the Şenyaşar family posted today on their social media account by tagging the official social media account of the Ministry of Justice.
