Sit-in protest of Şenyaşar family continues for 5 months

Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar have demanded justice in front of the Urfa Courthouse for 150 days, five months.

Riha- The Şenyaşar family continues to demand justice. Their sit-in protest has entered its 150th day today but no one has heard their demand.

The sit-in protest staged by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, has entered on its 150th day, a total of five months.

The family members held a placard reading, “A mother has held a sit-in protest in front of the Şanlıurfa Courthouse demanding justice for 150 days. Her husband and two sons were killed at the hospital. No lawsuit has been opened because a member of parliament was involved in the massacre.”

“Wildfires in many parts of Turkey continue. There has been a fire in front of the Şanlıurfa Courthouse for 5 months. People can see this fire only through the eye of the heart,” says the tweet of the family.
