Sit-in protest for “justice” enters its 351st day

The Şenyaşar family has held a sit-in protest in front of the Urfa Courthouse demanding justice for their killed relatives for 351 days. “If there is persecution, resisting is a right,” the family said.

Riha- The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out on June 14, 2018, in Suruç by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, has entered its 351st day. The most basic word that can be said about the law is that if there is persecution through the judiciary, resisting is a right. The people of Urfa are witnesses of the resistance against persecution.
