Sit-in protest for justice enters its 154th day
Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar have demanded justice in front of the Urfa Courthouse for 154 days.
Riha –Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband Hacı Esvet Şenyaşar and her sons, Celal Şenyaşar and Adil Şenyaşar, were killed on June 14, 2018 in an attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in the Suruç district of Urfa province, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, have held a sit-in protest in front of Urfa Courthouse demanding justice for 154 days.
“There is unlawfulness in many parts of Turkey. No one can deny this. But Şanlıurfa Courthouse ranks first in unlawfulness. (3 people were killed at the hospital, but no investigation has been launched until now). Do you call this equal citizenship?” says the tweet posted by the Şenyaşar family today.
