Sit-in protest for justice enters its 107th day: There is a crime against humanity
Emine Şenyaşar is holding her sit-in protest at home today due to her illness while her son Ferit Şenyaşar is holding the sit-in protest demanding justice in front of the Urfa Courthouse. “We have been constantly attacked in front of the courthouse to keep us silent. There is a crime against humanity. No one has been arrested related to the incident. There is no law, right or justice,” posted by the Şenyaşar family on their Twitter account.
Riha – The sit-in protest staged by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, to demand justice has entered its 107th day today. Yesterday, Emine Şenyaşar felt unwell in front of the courthouse and she was taken to a hospital. She is holding her sit-in protest at her home in Suruç district today due to her illness. In the morning her son Ferit Şenyaşar came in front of the Urfa Courthouse to keep holding their sit-in protest demanding justice. Ferit Şenyaşar has held placards reading, “No one has been arrested for the massacre” and “Justice”.
The Şenyaşar family also posted a tweet today and wrote, “Place: Suruç State Hospital. Date: 14.06.2018. Attackers: AKP MP Yıldız and his relatives.” The family also posted the document written by a doctor of the Suruç State Hospital about the day of the incident:
“Friends, we just left the hospital, we talked to three emergency physicians, a technician, and a healthcare worker. The execution took place in the hospital. A patient came to the hospital for suffering from head trauma. The patient was lynched with an oxygen tube. As a doctor was performing CPR, another patient was shot; other wounded people were stabbed repeatedly. The people who stabbed the patients were taken out of the hospital but they came in and stabbed them again. Another patient was slit his throat, the healthcare workers were threatened. There is no safety of life at the hospital. The law enforcement forces turn a blind eye to what is happening. The relatives of the Member of Parliament first destroyed the surveillance cameras at the hospital; the attack is an organized attack.”

Please read the document carefully. There is a crime against humanity. No one has been arrested related to the incident. There is no law, right, or justice.”
