Ankara- Police raided the houses of many members and former administrators of the Health and Social Service Workers' Union (SES) in the morning. SES Co-chair Selma Atabey and members have been taken into custody. The detained people have been reportedly taken to the General Directorate of Security Intelligence Branch and Anti-Terrorism Department (TEM) in Ankara.

Names of detained people are; SES Co-chair Selma Atabey, former SES Central Executive Board member Belkız Yurtsever, former SES Co-chair Bedriye Yorgun, SES retired members Ramazan Taş and Erdal Turan. In addition, former SES co-chair Gönül Erden Dersim and former SES Central Executive Board member Fikret Çalağan have been reportedly detained in Istanbul and SES member Rona Temelli has been reportedly detained in Van province.
