Security operation in al-Hol camp
A security operation has been launched in al-Hol camp by the Internal Security Forces, the SDF and YPJ.

News Center- The Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria has announced that a security operation has been launched in al-Hol camp with the support of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Women’s Defense Units (YPJ).
“The recent political and military developments in our region cause ISIS to intensify its activities. ISIS members have carried out many attacks to gain dominance by taking advantage of the chaos in the region,” the Internal Security Forces said in a statement on Friday. “Al-Hol camp is one of the places where ISIS is most active. The attempts of ISIS to kidnap people from the camp have increased in recent days. Al-Hol camp hosting tens of thousands of ISIS families continues to pose a threat. The suspension of humanitarian aid to the camp by international organizations has led to instability and humanitarian crises in the region.”
‘A new security operation’
The statement mentioned the previous operations launched in the camp and said, “In order to continue our fight against terrorism, we, as the Internal Security Forces, Internal Security Forces-Women, Women's Defense Units (YPJ) and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), announce that we have launched a new security operation against ISIS in al-Hol Camp to prevent possible attacks.”
