News Center- A delegation consisting of the members of the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) and KNK Co-chair Zeyneb Murad visited the Independent Human Rights Commission in the Kurdistan Region in Erbil yesterday. The members of the delegation were welcomed by Muna Yukhanna Yaqo, president of the Independent Human Rights Commission in the Kurdistan Region and some other commission members.

According to the received reports, the ongoing rights violations in the region were discussed at the meeting. The both parties reportedly called for an immediate end of the rights violations in the region. The KNK issued a statement after the meeting and said, “We support all efforts aiming to prevent human rights violations.”
