Refugee women to be deported for protesting Turkey’s withdrawal from Istanbul Convention

Four Iranian refugee women, who were detained for joining the protests against Turkey’s withdrawal from the Istanbul Convention in Denizli province, will be deported from Turkey.

News Center- Three Iranian refugee women, Esmaeil Fattahi, Leili Faraji, Zeinab Sahafi participated in a press statement held at Çınar Square in Denizli province of Turkey on March 20 to protest Turkey’s withdrawal from the Istanbul Convention. Mohammad Pourakbari Kermani couldn’t participate in the press statement. On April 5, four women were detained.

Four Iranian refugee women will be reportedly deported from Turkey for protesting Turkey’s decision on withdrawal from the convention.

Women will issue a press statement today at Denizli’s Candoğan Park tonight demanding the release of four Iranian women.
