Yemen- Alf Ba Civilization and Coexistence Foundation launched a project supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Aden on December 11 with the cooperation of the Global Communities to increase the participation of young people in every part of life. 50 young women and men joined the project.
The foundation also held an awareness-raising seminar to mark the end of the 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence. Bahia al-Saqqaf, the Executive Director Alf Ba Civilization and Coexistence Foundation, spoke to our news agency about their project.
“We launched the project to empower young people to make their own decisions at the international level. We try to support them to determine their important demands in the peacebuilding process in the region,” Bahia al-Saqqaf told us.
