Van- Plainclothes police officers and gendarmerie raided the house of Jinnews reporter Hikmet Tunç in the Kurubaş neighborhood of Van’s Edremit district on the grounds that there was a “bomb call”. The house was searched in detail during the raid. Police and gendarmerie surrounding the house with armored vehicles didn’t allow anyone to approach the house.

The team raided the house reportedly said that the Van Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued a search warrant on the grounds that there was a “weapon and bomb call”. After the search in the house, the police and gendarmerie left the house. Jinnews reported that no one has been detained or no material has been seized during the raid.
