Police raid houses of people protesting murder of Deniz Poyraz

Police detained many members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Esenyurt District Organization and activists of the Free Women’s Movement (TJA) for protesting the murder of Deniz Poyraz.

News Center- In the morning, police raided the houses of members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Esenyurt District Organization and activists of the Free Women’s Movement (TJA) in Istanbul. At least four people have been reportedly detained.

The reason for the house raids is, “to protest the murder of Deniz Poyraz.”

Deniz Poyraz, a 38-year-old member of the HDP, was killed in the attack on the HDP office in Izmir’s Konak district on June 17.
