News Center- Environmental activist and photojournalist Rahil Mousavi was reportedly detained in Ahvaz, a city in the southwest of Iran and the capital of Khuzestan province, on Tuesday evening, (November 9).

27-year-old photojournalist had been arrested before for taking photographs of a rally to protest against potential environmental damage in the southwestern port city of Khorramshahr. While the reason for her detention hasn’t been announced yet, no news has been received from her since her detention on Tuesday evening.
