People of Shengal pray for all victims of genocide

On the 10th anniversary of the Yazidi genocide, the people of Shengal (Sinjar) gathered in their holy places and prayed for all the victims of the genocide and for the punishment of those who betrayed them on August 3,2014.

News Center- Today is the 10th anniversary of the genocide committed by ISIS against the Yazidi community on August 3,2014. In the morning, the people of Shengal (Sinjar) gathered in their holy places to pray for all the victims of the genocide.

Serî Sûka was one of the holy places, where the Yazidis gathered yesterday. Serî Sûka was one of the holy places for the Yazidi community targeted by ISIS in 2014. It is a symbol of the resistance against ISIS for the Yazidi community.

They prayed, lit candles

The families of the victims of the genocide and activists gathered in Serî Sûka, praying for the victims of the genocide and for the punishment of those who betrayed them on August 3,2014.

Holding the photographs of their loved ones and the abducted Yazidi women and girls, they lit candles.
