Sulaymaniyah-A workshop was held at the İbrahim Ehmed Meeting Hall, Sulaymaniyah, with the motto, “Let’s Build Peace Together” with the participation of Peace Mothers from Turkey, Iran, NE Syria and Federal Kurdistan Region to discuss the attacks on the Federal Kurdistan Region.

The Peace Mothers have announced the final declaration of the workshop. In the final declaration, the mothers say:

“As mothers, we do not accept the tensions (chaos) within political parties. All political parties should fulfill their duties for Kurds, not help the invaders. They shouldn’t discuss with each other. If you don’t unite for your country, your country can be divided. We call on all parties to unite and stand against all enemies. We will fulfill our historic mission. We call on all women's movements to be pioneers in order to build national unity and to hold the national congress as soon as possible. We call on all political parties to unite against the occupation and to protect and defend Kurdistan.”

“Everyone should take a stand”

The Peace Mothers also call on all international forces to break their silence and say:

“*All international forces should take a stand against the use of chemical weapons and the attempt of genocide.

* Call on regional and international forces to protect the existence of the Kurdish people, Kurdish culture and to take a stand.

* We call on all mothers of fighters, Peshmerga members and soldiers to stand against the war because mothers suffer more from wars.

* We call on all political parties and parties to unite against the occupation and to protect Kurdistan.

* All women's movements should be pioneers to build national unity and to hold the national congress as soon as possible. We don’t want our children to be killed anymore.”
