On 161st day of protest for justice: We won't stay at home

Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar have held a sit-in protest in front of the Urfa Courthouse demanding justice for 161 days. “We will not stay at home until those who committed a crime against humanity at the hospital are brought to justice,” the family said.

Riha- The sit-in protest for justice staged by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in the Suruç district of Urfa province, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, has continued on its 161st day. Early in the morning, the Şenyaşar family came to the area called, “Justice Corner of Şenyaşar family.” Their lawyer Mehmet Ali Arslan joined them today. Emine Şenyaşar has reportedly suffered from 70% vision loss due to the severe traumas she has faced.

“We have been resisting for 161 days in front of the Şanlıurfa Courthouse to demand rights, law and justice. We will not stay at home until those who committed a crime against humanity at the hospital are brought to justice,” says the tweet posted by the Şenyaşar family today.
