News Center- 2024 Newroz celebrations were scheduled to take place in 12 centers of North and East Syria with the motto, “Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan and a resolution to the Kurdish question”. Kobanê, a city in Euphrates Canton, Afrin/Shehba Canton and Aleppo were the three centers where Newroz would be celebrated today. 

However, the Newroz celebrations in Aleppo, Kobanê and Shahba have been reportedly postponed until further notice because of bad weather conditions.
