Photographer, journalist,and documentary filmmaker Yalda Moyeri reported via her social media page on “X” that Iranian authorities have filed a security lawsuit against her after the Ministry of Intelligence froze her bank account.
Yalda Moayeri explained that she has been referred to court for the case to be heard, but she has not received any official notification due to the blocking of her mobile phone line, which prevented her from accessing the judicial electronic notification system "SANA." She referred to what she described as the "absence of coordination between security institutions," considering what she is experiencing as a "painful" and "dangerous" situation.
To date, the judicial and security authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran have not issued any official response to Yalda Moayeri's statements, and no details are available regarding the potential charges or the procedures for considering this case.
