New campaign launched by EŞİK

EŞİK has launched a new campaign and called on the Parliament to perform its duties to prevent violence against women and femicide.
News Center- Women's Platform for Equality (Eşitlik İçin Kadın Platformu-EŞİK) has announced that they have launched a new campaign. Women of EŞİK have called on the Parliament to perform its duties to prevent violence against women and femicide.
Women have announced the campaign on the platform’s website and say, “The name of violence kills at least three women every day, causes many suspicious deaths and suicides of women is not violence anymore, it is the extermination of women. Let’s end the extermination of women together. Let’s call on the authorities to prevent violence against women and children. We call on everyone to have a word to say on this issue to support this campaign. Let’s be the voice of our voice, let’s make our voice heard by the Parliament, and let’s take a step to end extermination of women.”
Those who want to join the campaign can shoot a video shorter than a minute and send their video to [email protected].
EŞİK’s demands are;
·  At least three women are killed a day, this is now a #cinskırım (#exterminationofwomen)
· The assembly should gather to prevent femicide.
· The Istanbul Convention and the Law No.6284 on combating violence should be implemented effectively.
· The Turkish Grand National Assembly should convene with a special agenda to prevent femicides that reach the level of extermination of women.
