Music video for Jina and anniversary of ‘Jin, Jiyan, Azadi’ uprising
The Bêstûn Culture and Arts Committee has released a music video to mark the first anniversary of the killing Jina Mahsa Amini and the “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi” uprising.
News Center- As the first anniversary of the "Jin, Jiyan, Azadi" uprising is approaching, events, commemorations and protests have been organized all around the world for Jina Mahsa Amini, who was killed by Iran’s so-called “morality police” in Tehran on September 16, 2022.
The Bêstûn Culture and Arts Committee, a committee based in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, has released a music video to mark the first anniversary of the killing Jina Mahsa Amini and the “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi (English: Women, Life, Freedom)” uprising.
The committee has dedicated the music video to the “Jin, Jiyan, Azadî” uprising. In the video containing the footage of the protests in Iran and Rojhelat Kurdistan, the members of the committee sing the anthem “Çerxa Şoreşê” in the Soranî dialect of Kurdish.
