News Center- Melek İpek protected her in self-defense and killed her husband Ramazan İpek inflicting violence against her and threatening her with death.

Melek, who is held in Antalya Döşemealtı L Type Prison, sent and message through her lawyer, and she thanks everyone, who support her. Ahmet Onaran visited Melek in prison and informed the prison authorities about Melek’s health problems. Onaran has written a post on his social media account and says, “She said that she misses her daughters very much and she thanks everyone supporting and praying for her. She said that justice will prevail and she will reunite with her daughters as soon as possible. I asked her how she is in the prison, she answered, “At least, there is no beat here’.

Announcing that they are going to object to Melek's detention process, Onaran says, “I believe that Melek will be free as soon as her file is read by more careful and attentive eyes. On behalf of Melek İpek and her family, I would like to thank millions of people, who have shared post on their social media accounts in order to be her voice and support her right struggle, to NGOs and hundreds of lawyers.
