News Center- Iranian security forces raided the house of Mehnoosh Mokhtari, a Baha’i resident of Birjand, on October 2, 2024, confiscating her laptop, mobile phone and books about the Baha'i religion. Then she was summoned to the Bureau of Intelligence in Birjand, a city of Iran’s Khorasan province.

At the bureau, security forces reportedly interrogated the Baha’i woman for hours.

According to the local reports, the reasons for the raid on her home, why she was summoned to the bureau and interrogated for hours are still unknown.
