Another man, who killed a woman, has been awarded a sentence reduction in Turkey. Hicazi Sülükoğlu, who killed Aynur Sülükoğlu by stabbing her 21 times, has got a prison sentence reduced.
News Center- The prison sentence against men killing women have been reduced under the ground “wrongful provocation” and “good time credit”. Hicazi Sülükoğlu, who killed his wife Aynur Sülükoğlu (47) by stabbing her 21 times in the Sivrihisar district of Eskişehir province of Turkey, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison by reducing his prison sentence for “wrongful provocation” and “good time credit”.
Lasy year in August, Hicazi Sülükoğlu killed Aynur Sülükoğlu (47) by stabbing her 21 times in the Yenice Neighborhood of Eskişehir’s Sivrihisar district. Then, he reported to the police. Police found the dead body of Aynur Sülükoğlu at home. Hicazi claimed that his wife had attacked him with a knife. He was jailed for “intentionally killing” his wife.
The final hearing of the trial was held in Eskişehir today by the 1st High Criminal Court. Hicazi Sülükoğlu joined the hearing through the Audio-Visual Information System (SEGBİS). The court has reduced the prison sentence and sentenced him to 20 years in prison.
